By discipline, the number of tests was as follows

- Swimming >> 252 tests
- Open Water >> 30 tests
- Diving >> 33 tests
- Synchronised Swimming >> 11 tests
- Water Polo >> 65 tests

It might also be appropriate to note that FINA is considering, as a general policy, the long-term storage of samples to permit analyses in the future should there be indications to do so.
