Race the Train 15 August 2009 - Another great run.  The weather looked like being wet, but dried up just before the main event started and I thought it was going to be too hot, but as I got the the turn around point at about 7 miles, the wind got up and I did the return into a head wind.  

Some thought it was a bit hard, but I found that I preferred it.  The bog was probably wetter than usual, but apart from that the course was good underfoot.  The farmer who ploughed his field a day or two before the run a couple of years ago had cattle there this year, so that made life easier.  Of course the train beat me - it always will, but I still love this event.
