York City Baths Club has successfully secured £7200.00  from the Sport England Small Grants funding stream.

The club will be using the funding to fund 7 volunteers through their UKCC Level 1 Teaching Aquatics course and to fund a training day with Bill Furniss that will benefit both the swimmers and the coaches.

The Sport England Small Grants funding stream is open to all voluntary clubs, it can be completed online and interested clubs should follow the following link if they are interested:

Awards from this funding stream are from as little as £300 up to £10,000 and clubs must have suitable governance arrangements to manage the grant, meet the aims and objectives of the fund, ensure the project offers good value for money and have proven evidence that the project is needed.
