'It is an outstanding group. The six young and passionate ladies are students at the St. Petersburg University and already have a very nice career behind them. This group won the gold medal at the 2007 University Games in Bangkok (THA), beating the Ukrainian and the Japanese group. They know each other very well and I am convinced that they will show their best performance in Benidorm.'

'The group was dissolved. After its brilliant victory at the Olympic Games and as it happens very often, the gymnasts decided to continue their sport’s career at another level. They leave the souvenir of a solid, unique and exceptional group able to support the great pressure and to present spectacular performances. That’s what they did in Beijing.'
