The 'Wu-Yi', the 'Ship of Peace' belonging to the Taiwan' Navy's 'Friendship Fleet', has partly been converted into a floating exhibition hall to promote The World Games 2009 Kaohsiung. Click here!

After calling on several Taiwanese ports since 19 February, it set sails for its next destinations in Central and South America.

Cheng Chi, Chief Executive Officer of  Kaohsiung Organizing Committee, was at Tainan harbor for the official send-off.

In addition to the World Games exhibition, Hakka artwork and artifacts, provided by the Kaohsiung City government's Hakka Affairs Bureau, are also being displayed on board the ship.

Anna Dogonadze won the bronze at The World Games 1997 Lahti in women’s individual trampoline for herself and her native Georgia. When trampoline premiered in the Sydney 2000 Olympics, Anna competed for Germany.
