The International Standard for the Protection of Privacy and Data Protection will form part of the International Standards developed by WADA as part of the World Anti-Doping Program. The purpose of the International Standard for the Protection of Privacy and Data Protection is to ensure that all relevant parties involved in anti-doping in sport apply suitable privacy protection in relation to the collection and use of personal data.

Following careful review and study of all comments received during the first consultation phase and further individual meetings, in particular with the Council of Europe, WADA is pleased to provide for your comments the second draft of the International Standard for the Protection of Privacy and Data Protection.
