World Cup Short Track Speed Skating 2009 / 2010

This Communication amends paragraph 4 d) and complements paragraph 5 of Communication No.1558. The purpose of these amendments and additions is to soften the entry conditions for the Relay Teams and to give more flexibility to the scheduling of the Event.

Amendments and additions are underlined in the below paragraphs :

4. Entries
a)      Entries shall be restricted to a maximum of six (6) skaters per category (Ladies + Men)
for each ISU Member at each World Cup Competition.
b)      Individual entries for 500, 1000 and 1500 meters:
Three (3) competitors per Member per distance per category. Any three (3) of the maximum six (6) may skate each distance.
c)      Relay entries: one (1) team per Member of  minimum 4, maximum 6 competitors per category.
d)      Members entering a Relay team can only enter a maximum number of 6 skaters which includes all participants for all parts of the program, individual distances and relay distances. Any of the entered skaters can take part in any round of the relay competition. 
e)      By entering participants for any World Cup Competition the Member making the entry confirms automatically to participate in the ISU World Team Short Track Speed Skating Championships and in the Relay  event at the ISU World Short Track Speed Skating Championships, if qualified. The Member may forfeit these rights by notifying the ISU in writing before the last World Cup Competition of the season (Rule 286, paragraph 4 a).

The programs and schedules are subject to changes.
