During the Cominoff meeting of March 2008 in Stockholm-Sweden, Cominoff agreed that as no new Mercury XS 200 engines were being manufactured for the 2008 season the Commission would agree to a temporary dispensation permitting the continued use of XR2 engines in the 3C Class in 2008.
