LONDON MARATHON 2010

Allocation of Club places

The 2009 Marathon takes place on Sunday 26th April.

Runner’s World (May 2009) says the London Marathon website for on-line applications for the 2010 Marathon will open on Monday 27th April 2009 at 09:00hrs and will remain open until 120,000 applications have been made.

Bromsgrove & Redditch AC’s policy for allocating the Club places for the 2010 Marathon is:

1.         A fully paid up Club member must have received a rejection slip as a result of an unsuccessful on-line application. That rejection slip must be shown to a Committee member.

2.         Club places will initially be allocated (if necessary by ballot if demand exceeds Club places) to Club members who did not get a Club place for the 2009 event.

3.         If any places then remain unallocated, those who received 2009 places will be considered (again by ballot if necessary).
