An excellent turnout for Stourbridge (19) at the popular local multi terrain race. There was a slight delay in the start due to the huge numbers of runners having to cross a pad of disinfectant, because of the recent foot and mouth scare but the mass start (over 800 runners)was a pretty amazing sight. Conditions were excellent, and the course was not as muddy as last year so many runners beat their previous times. First home for the club was Simon Link(42:28)in overall fourth place, followed by David Rose(48:24), Mike Anslow(49:54)and David Sheppard(51:02), First Stourbridge lady and overall second lady was Louise Collins(51:18),the rest of the team were as follows: Laurence Latham Leeming(55:55), Nichola Davies(56:19), Mark Pearson(1:01:12), Roslyn Elcock(1:04:49), Pete Cash 1:05:13, Claire Stokes 1:06:20, Derek Norton(1:07:24), David Hassell(1:07:33), Vicky Swindells(1:11:15), Claire Field(1:14:34), Ingrid Cain(1:15:54), Jackie Thomas(1:15:57), Maureen Tranter(1:17:07) and Lindsey Upton(1:34:47). Well done to all.
