Sunday the 4th started pretty grim but runners still turned up for Stone Master Marathoners anual 10 mile off-road jaunt. Renowned for its friendliness (perhaps not its weather), and killer hills it did not disappoint. However, and Dave S reports, 'the gloom did lift to reveal a real roller coaster of a race with some very steep climbs and big downhill sections'. First home for the club was Kevin Burke in an excellant 7th place (and second MV40) in a time of 59:50mins, next home was Dave Sheppard in 79th Place in 72:50 mins closely followed by Laurence Leeming-Latham 119th in 76.20 mins. Well done to all.
