Please note that the Wombourne Half Marathon which was due to take place on Sunday 5th June has now been postponed until 30th October.
Entrants were sent the following information:
Dear Runner.
Thank you for your entry to the above event. We write to advise you that after a great deal of effort on our part we have no alternative but to postpone the event until later in the year.
We understand that this will be a disappointment but assure you that it is the last course of action we wished to take. However, we also want to ensure that we can deliver the event under the best circumstances.
We will either;
- Refund your entry fee in full, or
- Transfer your entry to the Birmingham Black Country Half Marathon – Saturday July 2nd, or
- Transfer your entry to the new event date of October 30th 2011.

We can only apologise for any inconvenience caused and do hope that you understand that this decision is made in the best interests of the event, the runners and the locality.
