If you have put your name forward to run in the JW Ultra this coming Saturday, please see the following information from Natalie Dellar:
Hi all
The JW Ultra & Relay Starts at 10 am on Saturday 24th September 2011.
This is to confirm the Stourbridge Coach details for the day and the teams.
We need to be off at 8AM SHARP from Magnet in Stourbridge (just up from the club opposite Vauxhall Garage) please aim to meet at 7.45, you can park on the back car park down the slope. (we park here as we have an arrangement with Magnet as the football club car park is used on Saturdays)
I will give you your numbers on the coach or while we are waiting, PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PINS!!, if you are not using the coach we will make another arrangement re: numbers. I can bring some this Wednesday or drop them off for you somehow.
Once we get to Stratford, we will drop off the first leg runners, and pick up a few 2 & 3 leg runners from a couple of other clubs who need transport.
We need to be OFF ASAP (e.g. before the race starts) from Stratford to get to the 1st checkpoint in time. Please listen out for me telling 2nd and 3rd leg runners to get on the bus! Here at CP1 we will drop off the 2nd leg runners and then straight away off again to the 2nd checkpoint to drop off the 3rd leg runners. We will then go back to the 1st checkpoint, where we will wait and collect 1st leg runners until our last runner has come in. Once we have everyone we will go to the 2nd checkpoint to collect 2nd leg runners, and then back to the Rowheath Pavillion. Bear with everyone here – as previously stated we also help out other clubs relay teams with transport so may have to wait around a little.
For those who have not done the race before, there are marshalls at the major "getting lost" points and at the checkpoint changeover your number and time will be recorded by a marshall, then the next runner in your team goes. It is your responsibility to talk to your team, estimate their time of arrival and make sure you are in position at the checkpoint at the right time.
The link to the race info is here – I think route maps / cards can be downloaded.

Sorry but if you are on the 3rd leg you will have to walk from Bournville Station (where the race finishes) to the Rowheath Pavillion.
Here is a map of how to get from the finish to Rowheath Pavillion. It isn’t far!
(Map available from Natalie or Pete Walters.)

For those who haven’t paid for the RELAY+Coach yet it is £20 please! For Ultrarunners/Spectators coach it’s £5. I will be at the club Monday and Wednesday this week (if not running at the Cricket Club after on Weds)
As it stands the legs above are what I have got you down for but if you want to swap amongst yourselves let me know, this is important as I need to know who I am supposed to be picking up where! J
It is really a day out, the checkpoints are at pubs with toilets but please bring enough food / drink / money / warm clothes. We can leave stuff on the bus at "own risk" or you could leave things with your team mate to look after at the checkpoint and then pick it up when they are gone on their leg.
PLEASE WEAR A STOURBRIDGE VEST OR T-SHIRT TO RUN IN!
At the Rowheath Pavillion they have food / showers and the presentations, we will be leaving from the Pavillion ASAP so should be back in Stourbridge by 18.00-ish
Any Q's let me know, will do my best to answer.
My phone # on the day (and always) is 07870211686
Thanks
