GB selections for local swimmers

Three Birmingham swimmers are amongst the selections for this summer's World Youth Swimming Championships in Mexico and the European Junior Championships in Serbia.

Lauren Collins will be one of the twenty-two swimmers, selected from the British Championships in Sheffield earlier this month, to compete at the FINA World Youth Swimming Championships in Monterrey, Mexico, from 8th to 13th July 2008. Emma Wilkins from Chase SC, now training at Plymouth Leander, has also been selected for the team.

Fern Davies and Alexandra Hooper have been selected to represent Great Britain at the European Junior Championships which take place in Belgrade, Serbia from 30th July to 3rd August 2008.
