England run close with Princeton
In preparation for this years European championships in Lahti, Finland, the England men’s squad travelled to the world famous resort of La Manga for a training camp. The camp ran from last Thursday through to Sunday and included a two game series with NCAA division 1 team Princeton University, and also included coaching clinics with the highly experienced Princeton coach Bill Tierney. Princeton emerged as victors in both games, which were played at a high tempo and fiercely contested by both teams.

Princeton played the England men’s squad as part of a seven day European tour, which also saw them face the England under 19 squad in Dublin at the campus of University College, Dublin. This game served as part of the under 19s world games preparation, in the run up to the Under 19s World Championships which are held July 3-12 in Coquitlam, Canada.
