Secondee – Manchester Training Camps Co-ordinator

Salary c£28,919             Based in Manchester

This is a unique opportunity to work with Manchester City Council, to project manage a multi-stakeholder partnership aimed at maximising the benefits of preparing and securing Pre-Games Training Camps and their legacy.

The post has a Manchester remit, co-ordinating the city’s training camp opportunity, and helping to support the wider offer across Greater Manchester.  The post will also be expected to work closely with the Northwest Regional Development Agency, Sport England and the North West’s training camp consultants, who are collectively leading the region’s approach on training camps.

The Secondment will be for a period up to 31st March 2009, and would suit a candidate with experience of supporting the delivery of sport and sports events and is able to provide innovative solutions to complex issues.

The salary level for the post is in the region of £28,919 but will be determined in consultation with successful candidate and current employer.
