German National Team Women's Head Coach

Available: October/November 2008

Position Description:
The german National Women's Lacrosse Team is currently seeking a head coach in prepartion for the IFWLA/FIL World Cup taking place in the Czech Republic in 2009. A commitment through July 2009 is required.

Qualifications:

Two years prior coaching at the collegiate level or comparable experience.
Availability for tryouts, practices, tournaments and the World cup in the Czech Republic 17th-27th of June 2009.
The ability to accept direction from the management in a postive manner and relay accurate information to the players.
Exellent Communication skills
Resident of the European Union

Letters of Recommendation from coaches, athletic directors or national/state-wide or comparable organizations that can support your character and ability to coach, train, select, or manage a world cup lacrosse team are welcome but not an absolutely neccessary precondition.

Appointment: Part-time

Salary: Volunteer

The Head coach position includes the following benefits:

All costs involved in travelling to practices, camps and the World Cup are fully covered.
All costs involved in travelling within these events ( i.e. from the airport to hotel and fields) are fully covered.
Accommodation costs during the events are fully covered.
