The Awards recognise the achievements of coaches as well individuals and organisations in support of coaching and will take place on the 8th December.

Those shortlisted are Sam Buck (Cambridge Dive Team) in the Young Coach of the Year category and Lee Richards (Epping Forest Swimming Club) in the Performance-Development Coach of the Year category. Both coaches have ensured that the athletes within their clubs with potential have gone on to represent at national and internation level.

Lee has also been the head coach for 'Team East' which continued with excellent results at the DSE National Junior Championships this year. 

British Swimming has also been recognised for its work in supporting coaches and is shortlisted in the category of Governing Body of the Year.
