Regional Masters Championship Results

The second ASA East Region Open Masters & 18-24 Age Group Championships took place on 5th October 2008 at Bury St Edmunds.

The East Region President, Dave Metcalf, was on hand to present the medals to those swimmers breaking East Region records and with an incredible 29 records being broken he was kept busy. 

Alyson Fordham of Harlow Penguins and Peter Rae of Rochford were in fine form breaking 4 records each and Hannah Ueckermann of Witham Dolphins was a triple record breaker.  Double record breakers were Ruth Miller, Sue Holdich, Zoe Cray, Laura Healey, Basil Gell, and Alan Jackson.  Other record breakers were Valerie Standage, Debbie Matless, Lesley Cook, Donald Macfarlane, John Fry and Richard Goddard.
