Suffolk win East Region Inter-County Masters Event
20 Nov 2008 20:11

The East Region heat of the National Inter-County Masters Competition took place at Thetford on 16th November with Suffolk improving on their runners up position last year to take the trophy for top team.

Suffolk had established a lead of 20 points over Hertfordshire by the three quarters stage with last year’s winners Essex a further four points behind them in third place. Essex fought back to finish four points ahead of Hertfordshire to take the runners up shield.  The final points were: Cambridgeshire 122; Norfolk 192; Hertfordshire 221; Essex 225 and Suffolk 236.

ASA East Region president Dave Metcalf was on hand to make the presentations assisted by Vicki Buck, the president of Suffolk.
