The ASA East Region Swiming Officials Group are in the process of arranging a 1 day refresher/ information course for qualified Referees within the Region. The venue will be at Chippenham VH, Cambridgeshire on Saturday 8^th May 2010, between 09:30am - 4:30pm.

 

The training day is in the early stages of being developed and it is asked that Referees who are interested in attending please make a note of the date for the diaries. It is appreciated that some officials will not be able to attend due to prior commitments.

 

The subjects being covered on the day will include:-

 

·         Health & Safety and the Referee

·         Duties of the Referee

·         Refresher on Race Results and placings

·         Disability Swimming Awareness for Referees

·         Mentoring and training of Trainee Referees, JL2S, JL2, JL1.

·         Q&A Session

 

The day will attract BS CPD points for licensing, further information will be available in the New Year.
