2010 Swimming Referee Course

ASA East Region will be running in 2010,  Referee Training Days for applicants that sign up to the British Swimming Referee Course for 2010.  Candidates must be qualified as a Judge and Starter or the new Judge 2S and be 18 years old as at the 30th November 2010. Four training days have been arranged which will cover the examination syllabus and  practical  aspects of the role, the training days arranged are as follows:

 

Sunday 17th January 2010 – Freckenham Village Hall, Cambs

Saturday 20th February 2009 – Chippenham VH, Cambs

Sunday 16th May 2010 – Chippenham VH, Cambs

Saturday 30th October 2010 – Chippenham VH, Cambs (Revision Day)

 

Candidates will be required to undertake the following:-

 

• To attend a British Swimming Referee Course. (16hours theory)

• To complete the prescribed number of poolside duties. (10 Sessions practical)

• To attain a pass mark in the theoretical examination in November 2010 (2 hours 15mins)

• To complete a formal practical assessment.
