The UK's only outdoor Water Polo competition took place last weekend at the National Water Sports Centre, Holme Pierepont. Despite less than perfect weather conditions, the 6th Annual Open Water Tournament was an overwhelming success. Teams travelled from across the UK and from Holland to compete and enjoy the weekend.

Over 30 teams competed in this years tournament with a marathon of group stage matches and finally knock-out rounds resulted in a full day of high-class polo.

Penguin Men took this years Men's Open Water Title, with Cardiff University claming the Women's first place. Nottingham University Men came top of the 'B pool' table.
