There will be many people wondering how fit you need to be to play at the top level, please tell us a bit about your fitness regime; and please tell us a bit about your pre-match preparation and post match recovery. (Prior to Tournaments such as this, would you change your preparation and fitness regime?).
A: Lots of running and gym work every day.
If you could change one thing about hockey to improve the game, what would it be?
A: We have to work everyday to improve our hockey.
What would be the highlight/lowlight of your International Career to date?
Indoor World Cup in Leipzig is the highlight. The most disappointing is this Tournament and the last Tournament in Changzhou, to qualify for the World Cup we lost to Ireland in the last game.
Do you get nervous before games?
A: No.
What advice would you give to the “next generation” of players coming through the age-groups who aspire to be international players?
A: Sacrifice and to work. It is most important.
What are your goals over the next few years?
A: Now I’m thirty years old and it’s getting too difficult to continue. But I don’t know to continue or not.
What do you like most about hockey and what frustrates you the most?
A: Good question! Travel, players and playing is very interesting. A team like Trinidad is very interesting to play against, and also other teams in the world. It’s a passion!
What are your other hockey interests? And interests outside of Hockey?
A: I work.
You are stuck on an island for five years. Who are the two people you would most like to be with?
A: My girlfriend and my father.
