24th European Championships in Acrobatic Gymnastics
Vila Do Conde (POR), October 1 – 4, 2009

LAUSANNE (SUI), FIG Office, September 24, 2009: From September 25 – 29 the 4th Acrobatic Gymnastics European Age Group Games will take place in Vila do Conde POR, followed by the 24th European Championships for Seniors and 8th European Championships for Juniors, from October 1 – 4, 2009.

Some 422 gymnasts from 18 national federations will compete at the Acrobatic Gymnastics European Championships end of September and beginning of October in Vila Do Conde (POR) in the categories Women’s Pairs, Men’s Pairs, Mixed Pairs, Women’s Trios and Men’s Groups. Of the different winners in 2007 in the senior’s category, only the Ukrainian men’s four will defend their title. The titleholder in the junior category (Russia) will also compete, but in the seniors’ category. Several medallists of 2007 will be present in Portugal in a different category or with other partners.
