04 Sep 2007 15:17

McCook elected as NACAC president.  At the re-convened area congress held in Osaka on August 21st, Neville McCook narrowly defeated Keith Joseph for the presidency of the area association.  He will be joined by José Ludwig Rubio Rodríguez of the Dominican Republic, vice president and Alfred Emmanuel, treasurer.

The other elected members are Robert Hersh, Juan de Dios Reyes Leal, Hasely Crawford (TRI) and Mike Sands (BAH) as well as Esther Maynard.

Completing the Council are César Moreno, Alberto Juantorena and Abby Hoffman.

A constitutional amendment approved at the Congress makes the immediate past president Amadeo Francis a member of both the Council and the Executive Committee where he is allowed to speak but not vote.
