Match 10 – BEL 0 PAK 2

Pakistan was frustrated by a defensive Belgium team in the opening game of day three.

Belgium defended vigorously for the first 50 minutes of the game before Pakistan was able to convert their fourth corner with a well executed variation to Kashif Jawad.

As expected after the Pakistan goal, the game play opened as Belgium took more risks to equalize and Pakistan was able to play a more naturally attacking game in their midfield.

Belgium next play a critical game against New Zealand on Saturday. 

Pakistan has started the tournament to expectations with two wins from two games and next play a great fixture when they meet traditional rivals, India.
