Level 1 Umpire Accreditation (L1UA)
- For potential umpires in local leagues and club games/events
- Based upon classroom tuition, a number of practice games, an examination paper and a practical assessment on an 11 a-side game
- The aim is to learn the basics of umpiring competitive hockey
Resources provided:
- Information Sheet and Registration Form – includes details of the qualifying criteria, assessment and registration procedures, and maintenance of the Accreditation (L1UA1)
- Parental Consent Form – for candidates under 18 years of age (L1UA1A)
- Course Syllabus – includes a time planner for the Course and guidance on conducting the Course (L1UA2)
- PowerPoint presentation – the slides to accompany the L1UA Course Syllabus (L1UA3)
- Examination Paper – a template to enable NAs to develop their own papers (L1UA4)
- Examination Paper Answers – the answers to the example paper (L1UA5)
- Certificate - a template, for copying on to letterhead, awarded to successful candidates (L1UA6)
