Level 3 Umpire Accreditation (L3UA)

• For potential umpires officiating in a National Programme or National League, who are active Level 2 Umpires and who have passed the relevant fitness and any other umpiring tests
• Based upon assessment in a game or games in the National Programme or other games considered to be of the required standard  
• The aim is for Level 3 Umpires who officiate at the top levels of the National Programme to become eligible for the award of their National badges (a recognition that Umpires have reached this top level) and possible selection for nomination to International appointments (depending upon age and potential)
