Tournament Format

Teams will play each other once before the top two advance to the final. The third and fourth-placed teams after the round robin phase will play for the bronze medal.

Matches will consist of two 20-minutes halves, separated by a five-minute half time break. If scores are level at the end of the regulation time during the round robin phase, then (except in the case of the final - see below) a penalty stroke competition shall be played to establish a winner.

Finals - Extra-Time
If scores are level at the end of the regulation time of the final, sudden death extra time will be played. The extra time period will consist of two periods of five minutes each in between which teams shall change ends, without a rest period.

The extra-time will end once a team has scored or has been awarded a goal. That team shall be the winner of the competition.

If the score is still equal at the end of the extra-time, a penalty stroke competition will be played to establish the winner.
