Continental Development Officers (CDOs)
Since 2002 the FIH works with 5 Continental Development Officers, in short CDOs.
The CDOs are the official and at the same time practical link between the FIH and the National Associations. The CDOs meet twice a year and form a network with the FIH Development Manager as coordinator.
The CDOs are instrumental in the implementation of FIH and CHF development projects and programs, like:
- FIH NA Development Fund
- National Hockey Development Planning
- Global youth projects
- Coaching and umpiring courses and projects
- Club and Association Development
- Development Forums and seminars
- Development visits
- Other activities
