Whilst we generally spend Christmas day there ourselves, we always have the decorations up by the first week in December and many of our guests hold Christmas parties or family get-togethers at the house throughout the month, and indeed into January. Our festive decorations are very festive indeed, and will always include a beautifully decorated tree, Christmas lights throughout the house and lots of appropriate foliage! New Year is always a very popular time at Old Great Marlborough; particularly special are the New Year’s Eve celebrations at the friendly local pub in Grosmont village, which often include the landlord and his brilliant band in a live performance, belting out some classic rock and getting the whole pub dancing!
