GENERAL INFORMATION:

First sporting success: Winning the long jump at Primary School

Finest sporting moment: Touching the wall in the 100m freestyle at the Paralympic Trials and seeing that I had qualified for Athens.

Tip for the top: Focus on what you want. Don't let anything get in your way. If you want it bad enough you'll get there. Learn from your successes as well as your failures.

Favourite sport other than swimming: Football

Hobbies: Listening to music, playing on the computer and watching sport

Three words that best describe you: Committed, hard working and focused

Would most like to meet: Alexandre Popov - he's had an amazing career and he's still going

Biggest influence on career: The support I've had from my family and friends

Favourite venue: Ponds Forge, Sheffield

Tips to relax: Take time out and get away from swimming

Ultimate ambition: To win a Paralympic gold medal

Where do you see yourself in 10 years: Still swimming and going faster than ever
