Worcestershire AAA Championships 2007
Stourport
Saturday 12th May 2007
The club came home with a haul of medals from the Worcestershire championships at Stourport. Sean Bowden narrowly beat his fastest time in the U/17 1500m as racing against seniors he came in first with 4:14.1. Sam Cater retained his javelin title with a throw of 51.68m. He was also 2nd in hammer (34.35m) and 3rd in shot putt (11.06m). James Hart had double wins in the high jump (1.75m) and triple jump (12.10m). Amy Irish (U/17W) had an impressive win in the 300m in 44.7. She was also 3rd in the shot (6.50 m) and 100m (14.2). New member Martin Aspley-Davis won the men’s 400m in 51.7s. There was another win for Kota Suzuki in the U/15 boys 100m clocking a Grade 2 standard 12.1. He was 2nd in the 200m in 25.5.
