Arden 9 mile road race

Bromsgrove & Redditch's Dave Kesterton won this 9 mile road race organised by Hampton-in Arden Tennis Club. His winning time of 49.45 was a new course record for the Male Veterans 40-49 age group. Second-placed Mark Hull (Midland Vets) was only 15 seconds behind and George Eliott Striders' Garry Payne was third. Leamington C&AC's Sue Harrison set a new Female Veterans 35-44 record with 50.47 to finish first woman and fourth overall out of 311 finishers.
