Worcester Aquathon
Sunday 4th January 2009 The sub zero temperatures didn’t keep Georgie Fleming or Rowena Bales from competing at the Worcester Aquathon. Georgie and Rowena swam 16 lengths before braving minus three degrees outside to run 5 km in a wet swimsuit. Enthusiastically supported by Rich Dando (appropriately dressed in hat, scarf, gloves, jacket etc.), Georgie finished 5th in the Senior Female category while Rowena was the 1st Female Vet home.
