A warm and sunny Sunday morning greeted the runners for this years Crowle 10k and among the 470 strong field were B & R runners Ann Stuart,  Rob Mole, David Carney and John Manley.

A quick lap of a grass sports field led out onto the road and an undulating course which was very well marshaled and largely traffic free throughout. The half way point was marked with a sharp turn around a bollard after which runners could start to think about the finish.

Worcester AC filled the first three positions with the winner, David Hall, winning the race in a time of 34 minutes. A little further back was John Manley in 11th, Rob Mole in 15th then Ann Stuart at 84th (5th female) and finally David Carney 382nd.

Continuing their recent 'pot hunting' form Ann picked up first prize in the 40 to 49 age group and John won the over 50 men’s award.
