On a whole a very successful and extremely close meeting again where every point really did count!  Well done and thank you to everyone who competed and also to those who helped with some last minute changes to help the team.  I'd also like to thank the officials, Dave, Julie, Yasmine, Phil, Steve, John & Rita for all your hard work, thanks also to our supporters, friends, family and a special thanks to Dave Carney for coming all the way back from Spain for yesterday’s meeting.

A Special mention and congratulations to Simon Lanckham who not only achieved a club record in the 3km steeplechase but smashed the divisional record at the same time.

After having checked the latest divisional records from the last meeting in May I thought it also worth highlighting that Simon also has the division 5, 2km steeplechase record along with Sam Lloyd who has the women's division 5 Javelin record.  Well done both of you.

The next meeting is on SATURDAY 4th JULY at Burton, so if you haven't already done so please add the date to your diary.
