Club Nights and Pace Groups

The club meets twice a week at the Sports Ground 'Stourbridge Memorial Football Ground', on the  A491 in Amblecote.

We meet on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 7.00pm.

We try to keep off-road and away from traffic as much as possible but this is generally not possible in the winter.  Distances of between 5 and 8 miles are usually covered.

The bar is open on a Wednesday evening and is a good place to meet the runners in other groups, to find out what races are happening locally and to make new friends.

Pace Groups

There are usually four different pace groups go out  and are a mixture of men and women.

Beginners Group ( currently split into 3 groups depending on numbers and ability)

Steady Group   (9-10 min mile pace)

Intermediate Group (7-8 min mile pace)

Fast Group ( 6-7 min mile pace)
