Favourite event: 50m Free or Fly.
Finest ever performance/Why: Commonwealth Games in Melbourne - I was the only English disabled swimmer and came away with a medal, such a great achievement! My greatest moment is hopefully yet to come, in Beijing.
First senior international meet: Europeans in 1998.
Role models: None
My aspirations are: Wining a number of medals in Beijing, hopefully those beginning with G.
Tip for the top: Enjoy swimming and that way you will progress to higher levels.
Life after swimming: I’m coming to the end of my swimming career but want to remain involved in swimming, maybe become a motivational speaker.
Music: General stuff.
If I wasn’t a swimmer/diver I would be: No idea, since 1982 I’ve said I’m going to make it to the Paralympics and nothing has got in my way.
Describe yourself in three words: Sexy, funny and competitive.
Would most like to meet: No one in particular.
Most prized possession: My medals mean more than anything, for all the sweat, effort and tears that went into wining them.
Biggest influence on career: Mark Rodds – he has helped me throughout my career.
Sporting relations: None.
