NEWS FLASH! The 2009 Kellogg's Swimtastic Awards took place on 16th October 2009. We will be reporting on the winners shortly. | The ASA organises the Kellogg's Swimtastic Awards because it is a great opportunity to celebrate the amazing achievements of people across all levels of swimming and honour the unsung swimming stars out there.
Winners from ten categories are recognised with an action-packed swimming gala and a formal awards ceremony and dinner, where they are joined by Olympic, Paralympic and national swimmers, divers, sychronised swimmers and water polo players.
Olympic bronze medallist and former swimmer Steve Parry, who has been involved with Kellogg's Swimtastic for more than five years, said: “Kellogg's Swimtastic is a brilliant way of recognising people that have achieved their personal goals in the pool. It highlights some of the heart-warming, courageous and motivational stories of the people involved.”
Gold and bronze Paralympic medallist Sam Hynd, who himself receives support from Team Kellogg's, added: “It’s fantastic to see such determination from so many people in a sport that I love: swimming!
“The sport has given me so much already and helped me to overcome my disability and it is great to give back something and hopefully encourage others to do the same! If you believe in yourself anything is possible!”

- Young Swimmer of the Year
- Disability Swimmer of the Year
