When did you start playing hockey, and why?
When I was 9 years old because it was a sport played at my school.

Who was the greatest influence on your hockey career, and why?
Kurt Brown: he came to our Hockey Club during two years when I was 16 to 18 years and had a great influence in my development as a player.

What was the highlight of your hockey career?
Hopefully it will be here, qualifying for the Olympic Games!

And the lowest point?
It could be here if we don’t qualify…

Is there a team that you find especially hard to play against?
Any of the top teams; Holland, Germany, Spain, Australia.

Who is the player you most admire?
Kurt Brown.

What do you like most about hockey and what frustrates you the most?
I love winning and losing frustrates me the most

If you could change one thing about hockey, what would it be?
I do not know, really.

What do you do during tournaments to relax?
Watch TV, computing and internet.

What are your interests outside hockey, and what are your plans after you finish competing at this level?
Play golf, cricket and chilling out with friends.

What is one piece of advice you would give to young players?
Keep working hard, never give up, and keep working on your skills.

If you had a chance to do anything you like, what would it be?
An Olympic Gold Medal!
