John Parker, a Board Director of Byrom plc. has worked for over nineteen years on events such as the FIFA World CupTM, Commonwealth Games, Winter Olympics, Olympic Football, the 2007 Pan American Games and the 2008 World Swimming Championships.
He is Managing Director of Ryder Cup Travel Services and has been involved in many operational aspects of the last six Ryder Cup Matches. He sits on the Ryder Cup Ministerial Steering Group for the 2010 Ryder Cup.
John also sits on the Board of MATCH Hospitality A.G. who has the global hospitality rights for the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World CupsTM.
In addition, John is Managing Director -Tour Operator Programme for the 2010 FIFA World CupTM. This programme, operated by MATCH A.G. for FIFA, offers a global network of experienced Tour Operators FIFA World CupTM tickets, conditional to them being packaged with travel services to sell into their respective markets.
