Sandy Hollway was Chief Executive of the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games, following a distinguished career as an Australian civil servant which included positions as Chief of Staff to the Australian Prime Minister, Chief Executive of two major government departments and four overseas diplomatic postings.  Since the Sydney Olympic Games, he has been an adviser to a very wide range of private and public sector projects in Australia and internationally.  This includes advisory roles on a number of major international sporting events.  He is a principal adviser to the Australian International Sporting Events Secretariat, a coalition of Australian governments dedicated to promoting Australian companies and experts to major events.  He holds the Order of Australia.
