HOW TO ENTER |
|
The deadline for entries to the 2009 awards has now passed |
|
To enter the awards simply e-mail: awardsinfo@rushmans.com with the following details or click here and complete the entry form. For a printable version of the entry form click here:
- Your name, position, company name, and contact e-mail and telephone number
- The name of the person/s and company you wish to nominate if different to the above
- Category you wish to enter
- The name of the sports event and date of the event
- Event Organising Committee / Owner (if applicable)
- Outline company’s/ nominee’s involvement (no more than 500 words)
- In 500 words write why you feel you/your organisation/the nominee should win the award
There are 10 categories and no limit to the number of entries per category or per Company, Organisation, City, Federation, or Organising Committee, as long as the entry is relevant to the category. You may also nominate your colleagues or other Organisations, etc, which you feel have excelled in their field. Judges reserve the right to move any entry to an alternative category if deemed appropriate.
There is no fee to enter the awards. |

TOP TIPS to consider when completing your entry form:
- Be precise – 100s of entries are reviewed for the short list
- Use bullet points
- Do not exceed 500 words
- Include 2 or 3 low res pictures (ideally in j-pegg format, please send any pictures to awardsinfo@rushmans.com, clearly stating the event and company you are entering)
- Number of competitors
- Number of spectators / TV audience
- Identify key challenges
- Operational approach and solutions
- Examples of innovation
- Summary of project delivery and outcome highlighting specific achievements

WHO CAN ENTER?
Any company, organisation, city, federation, organising committee or individual who has contributed to a sports event between September 2008 and September 2009 is eligible to enter.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
You will receive an e-mail confirming receipt of your entry and if appropriate a request for further information.
A specialist judge will short list the entrants in September. You may be asked for further information. In October the judge’s panel will meet to assess the short list and select the winner of the BRONZE, SILVER and GOLD awards in each category. The winners will be announced at the glamorous Awards dinner at Lord’s Cricket Ground, London, UK, on 10th November.
