Venue
Following a tragic fire on March 7, 1999, that destroyed the former sports palace, the City of Metz had decided to rebuild a new and modern sports centre to serve the multiple needs of the Metz community and to launch the project 'Palais Omnisports de Metz'. The Sports Complex Les Arènes finally became operational in September 2001.
The hall is equipped with foldaway devices meant to host equally well handball, basketball, gymnastics competitions or various shows about sports or entertainment. Depending on the needs, the foldaway stands make it possible to host from 1,000 to 4,525 spectators. With a record height of 18m to the ceiling, the floor area amounts to 4,680 sq. m.

During the 2010 Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships and World Age Group Competitions, the competition area (Field of Play, FOP) will be 50 m long and 30 m wide (1500 sq. m.).
The training and warm-up halls for the championships are also located in the Sports Complex Les Arènes. The training hall (44 x 24 m, 1,056 sq. m.) has 4 trampolines, 1 tumbling track and 1 Double Mini-Trampoline. During the competition days, it will serve as a warm-up area for Tumbling and Double Mini-Trampoline.
The warm-up area (30 x 15 m; 450 sq. m.) will be separated from the competition area by a black curtain. It contains 4 trampolines.
