Dear fox
Though I`m loathed to promote 200 mile
UNendurance races I would defend Eurosport to a
degree . I believe you`ll find highlights
coverage this evening at about 6 ish and
repeats in the week .
I defend Eurosport because they are the only
channel to cover our sport and , apparently ,the
only people with the vision to cover real
i.e. "24hr" endurance racing , without getting
bogged down too much in the politics that means
some people can`t see the wood for the trees .
J`accuse the organisers of both series and the
FIM in that last regard . If only race 24 could
regain a bit of objectivity ..........

First congrats to all QB Phase One from other
members back home in a wet n windy UK. Second
Eurosport have done it again, at 5ish I was
flicking through the channels and was amazed to
see the Number 3 QB Phase One bike on the screen.
It seems the tennis is now on later and they have
shown the highlights early. Perhaps it will be on
again at sometime

Well folks in GB land don't bother tuning into
ESGB @ 18:30 for the race highlights 'cos they
were on at 17:00!!!! If ES say they reserve the
right to change the schedule broadcast when they
like I reserve the right not to bother watching
and spending my money going to the races
instead!!!

no coverage tonite ,just cycling from france ,does not
seem to been any more coverage for the rest of the week.
don't see any coverage monday on eurosport gb...

A friend has just informed me that our friends
at Eurosport GB had a change of plan and aired
Imola at about 17:00 Grrrrrrrr.....
I`m sure someone out there loved the tennis and
the cycling and the weightlifting from turkey but
please god eurosport , you`re so close to doing a
brilliant job I don`t understand how you can do
this to us .
I`m not claiming we are better people than fans
of other sports or that we have any special
rights but is it really asking so much to be
treated equally ?
Can anyone tell me
when/if the highlights/summary might be on ?

I'm in Rome cutting together the programme
now...should be finished Tuesday night, though I
don't know the broadcast times. Go easy on me,
I'm a virgin in front of the camera!...besides,
I'm constantly distracted by the pitlane
glamour...

he did quite a good job of racking his brains to
talk about something while the pace car was out
after lap 4.....

Hey fellas. I'm sittin here in the states
(Indianapolis to be more specific), trying to
find highlights of the race. So far all I can
find is the one clip on here with no audio.
Specifically, I am looking for the video of the
pile up on lap 4. No, I'm not just into seeing
carnage, my neighbor John Jacobi was the
one "surfing" the Herman Verboden #6 bike down
the straight. The video I have doesn't do it
justice.
If you don't know, he tells me he landed butt
first, on the footpeg, before surfing it down the
straight. The end result was 10 stitches in his
left cheek to close a two inch gash. Pretty
cool, eh? Or maybe I just have to laugh to not
think about the pain. I made sure to laugh
at/with him about it, as he's driving home from
Atlanta, about 9 hours from here. OUCH!
Just would like to know if I could get that video
online somewhere to share with his friends
stateside. We'd all like to share in the true
comedy of it.
