SPORTACCORD 2009 - DENVER (USA), 23 - 27 March 2009
SportAccord, the International Sports Convention, was created (2003) and is owned by GAISF (General Association of International Sports Federations), in partnership with ASOIF (Association of Summer Olympic International Federations) and AIOWF (Association of the International Olympic Winter Sports Federations).
SportAccord brings representatives from the 104 International Sports Federations affiliated to GAISF, ASOIF and AIOWF as well as Officials from the International Olympic Committee, together with sponsors, bidding and host cities, architects, sports lawyers, broadcasters, games organising committees, rights holders and other specialists to discuss the key issues facing the sports industry.

IF SPORTS FORUM - Lausanne (SUI), 17 - 19 November 2008
This year's Forum will be organized by GAISF and SportAccord and will be more geared towards the needs of all the GAISF members. It will be held at the Movenpick Hotel in Lausanne and will not be open to the public, but will be offered to an invitation-only list of IFs and the IF Sports Forum Official Partners.
The themes for the 2008 IFs Sports Forum are 'Media & Leadership'. The programme will involve two streams of focus running simultaneously, in addition to presentations and keynote speeches addressed to the combined audience.

AGFIS/GAISF CORNER OF THE IFs 2008 - SPORTELMonaco (MON), 20 - 23 October 2008
GAISF launched in 2004 the 'GAISF Corner of the IFs' at SPORTELMonaco. The concept was successful and thanks to the relationship between GAISF and Sportel, many IFs had the opportunity to benefit from very special prices to exhibit and to be present at this major worldwide Television Market attended by broadcasters, acquisitions and distribution executives, producers, event organizers, sponsors, marketing agencies and new media. The 'GAISF Corner of the IFs' at SPORTELMonaco is an ideal platform and very valuable for the IFs to promote their sport and to carry out their business on a worldwide level.

12th WORLD SPORT FOR ALL CONGRESS, Genting, Malaysia, 3 - 6 November 2008
The Olympic Council of Malaysia is organising the 12th World Sport for All Congress from 3rd to 6th November 2008 at the Genting International Convention Centre (GICC) at Genting Highlands Resort (City of Entertainment), situated about 51 km north east of the City of Kuala Lumpur.
The 12th World Sport For All Congress will focus on 'Sport for All - for life' in 2008.
The Congress will be placed under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), in cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the General Association of International Sports Federation (GAISF). At the local level, the Congress will be supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia and the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia.
