ASA Licensing Scheme for Aquatic Professionals: Teachers and Coaches

Following an extensive review including consultation with forum groups and industry partners, a new, streamlined and  flexible licensing scheme for Teachers and Coaches was launched in April 2009.  The opportunity to become licensed is open to all qualified aquatic professionals, whether paid or unpaid for their services, who meet the stated criteria and are committed to ongoing personal development.

500 free individual licences are available on a first come first served basis.

The Licensing area of the website has been updated with the new scheme brochure which provides all the details of the new scheme and should answer any questions you may have.  It also contains the documentation required to apply.  Please be aware that if you are already licensed you will be required to use the renewal documentation located in the section entitled ‘Licensing scheme pre April 2009’.  Following successful renewal you will be transferred onto the new licensing scheme.
