GENERAL INFORMATION


First sporting success:
Representing GB in the 1999 Youth Olympics

Finest sporting moment: Winning a silver and bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games (2006). Breaking the British record in the 100m butterfly at the European SC Championships in Trieste (2005). Also winning a gold at the European Championships as part of the relay team

How do you prepare to race: I prepare by ensuring that the day before the race, I get all my kit together and making sure I eat good food

Biggest disappointment: Not making the final in my individual races at the European Championships (2006)

Education: I'm in my last year of a Sport and Exercise Science Degree at Wolverhampton University

Ultimate ambition: To qualify for the Olympics and to make a final
